Yesterday morning a meeting was held at Jaffna Teaching Hospital to which Director General of Health Services, hospital administration, the doctors, branch union representatives, Police and security heads of the area participated. Issues related to the security of the doctors within the area was discussed in detail.
Representatives sent by the GMOA mother union to participate at the meeting had to give up their journey at Medavachchiya due to bad weather conditions(flood situation).
