The articles published on 21-02-2013 newspapers regarding Doctors “Work to Rule” at GH-Matara was brought to focus of the GMOA Executive Committee today. GMOA Ex-Co decided to brief the media regarding the issue correctly.
Accordingly;
- A meeting of GMOA Branch Union, GH-Matara was held on 20-02-2013 chaired by Dr. Chandika Epitakaduwa, the secretary GMOA.
- Several Suggestions were made regarding the current situation at GH-Matara and some decisions were taken regarding the issue and future course of actions in
- Short term
- Intermediate
- Long term
- It was also decided to prepare a detailed report on this and to brief the media.
- The suggestions made at the branch union meeting and the decisions taken will be forwarded to the General Committee on 03-03-2013.
