GMOA Branch Union of TH-Kandy will launch a trade union action against harassment of lady doctors within hospital premises due to poor security arrangements. A lady doctor was harrased by an unidentified person in the mid night on 23-11-2013 while she was walking to the doctos quarteres after her duty.
Even though the branch union repeatedly pointed out about the lack of security within the hospital premises to the administration, no action has been taken to ensure security of doctors and other staff.
