Concerns of the medical officers were raised at the GMOA General Committee held on 25 th March regarding the impractical nature of the circular issued on Family Planing injections by the Director General Of Health Services.It was decided to strictly adhere to the circular issued and hence to refrain from providing Depo provera in settings with no required facilities and where a doctor can not be physically present.
A discussion on this regard will be held at the Ministry of Health on 28th March at 2 pm.
