Yesterday the10 day full-time residential Tamil language training programme was started for the first batch of pre-interns at Agalawatta training centre.
Each year this training is expected to be given to cover up the whole population of pre-interns.
This will undoubtedly help the quality care provided by our doctors to reach the public penetrating the language barrier.
This will also help our medical officers to achieve language proficiency which is a requirement in the public sector to proceed with no annual increment different.
