In response to the statement made by one office bearer attached to NHSL threatening withdrawal of emergency patient care, GMOA executive committee decided to dissolve the GMOA branch union of NHSL.
As such, any disruption of duties will be illegal and individual doctor will be responsible for the legal and other means of consequences.
Director of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka today released all medical officers on transfer orders. Therefore, we point out that these trouble making medical officers (who are very few in number) will no longer belong to NHSL.
