GMOA Executive Committee decided to postpone the proposed indefinite island-wide strike for 10 days against the delay in issuing the gazette notification on Medical Service Minute.
Although the grade promotion scheme in the service minute was approved by the PSC, the transfer scheme of consultants in the minute had not been approved by the commission though the Cabinet had approved it. Now the PSC is seeking another Cabinet approval for the transfer scheme of the consultants.
GMOA would wait ten days for the consultants’ transfer scheme of the service minute to be gazetted.
