After many decades of medical specilists service, Sri Lanka is yet to have a consultant registry.Using this as a loop hole many individuals claiming them selves to be “Specialists” are seen to be practising in the private sector.
Foreign invasion seems to be more indirect and modified today.Our private sector is going to to be flooded with doctors from neighbouring countries.This raises the need of a filtering process in order to safeguard the standards of the medical profession.
